80 to 100 patients are getting dialysis facility every day at GBP hospital. Dialysis services provided to kidney patients at GBP Hospital are based on AIIMS guidelines.
An expert team from AIIMS will be requested to visit here for on-site inspection of the dialysis services here.
Secretary of Health Department Kiran Gitte gave this news in a press conference at the conference hall of Agartala Government Medical College this afternoon.
In the press conference, he said, to improve the service, from August 1 this year, kidney patients are being given dialysis through outsourcing to GB Hospital.
After the introduction of this method some problems were faced for the first ten days. Then the problem is solved. 5 to 6 people can be Dialysis with one machine. Earlier, only one person was dialyzed through a machine. Outsourcing authorities are still asked to provide dialysis to one patient in one machine.
