Nallu Indrasena Reddy, who is set to become the Governor of Tripura, arrived in Agartala a day prior to his swearing-in ceremony on Wednesday.

He was welcomed at the MBB Airport by Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha and some members of his cabinet, along with his family.

Subsequently, Mr. Reddy received a formal reception at the Raj Bhavan and inspected a ceremonial guard presented by the Tripura State Rifles.

On Tuesday, Chief Minister Dr. Saha bid farewell to the elderly Satyadev Narayan Arya, who had maintained a low profile during his tenure in Tripura due to health reasons and rarely attended official events.

Nallu Indrasena Reddy is scheduled to take the oath as the 20th Governor of Tripura on Thursday morning.

The Chief Justice of the Tripura High Court will administer the oath of office and secrecy.
