Union Home Ministry to hold a nationwide Civil Defence Exercise on 7th May across 244 Civil Defence Districts.

The drill, extending to village level, will assess readiness & coordination of Civil Defence forces, involving officials, volunteers, NCC, NSS, NYKS & students.

๐Ÿ“ŒObjectives of the Civil Defence mock drill on 7th May:

โ€ขAssess air raid warning systems
โ€ขTest hotline/radio links with IAF
โ€ขCheck control room functionality
โ€ขTrain civilians & students
โ€ขEnsure blackout & camouflage readiness
โ€ขActivate Civil Defence services (firefighting, rescue, warden services)
โ€ขEvaluate evacuation plans
