In West Bengal, Chief Minister #SuvenduAdhikari announced the immediate start of deportation proceedings for illegal Bangladeshi infiltrators under the Citizenship (Amendment) Act, (#CAA).

Speaking at Nabanna during a land handover ceremony to the Border Security Force for border fencing, Adhikari stated that infiltrators will now be directly handed over to the BSF.

From there, arrangements will be made with BDR to expel them. He described the new approach as ‘Detect, Delete, and Deport.’
