The government is adopting more comprehensive plans to accelerate the infrastructural development and overall prosperity of Tripura, said Statistics Minister Vikas Debbarma yesterday.

Speaking at the inauguration of a 5-day workshop on “Regional State Income and Related Aggregates” at Pragna Bhavan, the Minister highlighted Tripura’s wealth in natural resources and the potential for significant development through enhanced infrastructure During the event, the Statistics Minister launched the Analytical Dashboard web portal (www.estats tripura.gov.in), developed under the Tripura Data Encryption Standard.

The portal will provide casy access to all collected statistical information and decisions made in the state. Minister Debbarma congratulated the participants of the workshop and expressed hope for its success.Organized by the Ministry of Statistics and Program Implementation in collaboration with the State Government’s Department of Statistics.

Special Secretary Abhishek Chandra provided an in-depth discussion on the dashboard’s features and the initiatives of DES-Tripura. Other dignitaries at the event. included DG NK Santoshi, Director Pooja Rani, and Gaurang Mishra, Director of the Statistics Department of Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Director of Statistics Debananda Reang delivered the welcome address.

The workshop gathered Officials of the Bureau of Statisticsfrom various states and union territories, including West Bengal, Meghalaya, Sikkim, Manipur, Nagaland, Odisha, and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
