In a significant crackdown on narcotics trafficking, a large consignment of suspected contraband ESkuf & Fairdyl cough syrup was intercepted based on input at Agartala Railway Station from the parcel van of Deoghar Express.
During inspection, the bottles were found ingeniously concealed inside sealed metal drums, indicating a well-planned attempt to evade detection. Total seizure: 39,345 bottles.
The operation was carried out jointly by the Government Railway Police (GRP) and Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF). Legal proceedings underway.
