Construction of a cricket stadium in Narsinghgarh, Agartala is expected to be completed in the next 7-8 months. This information was given by Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Sushant Chowdhury in response to a question from MLA Banulal Saha in the state assembly on Monday.
He said that the construction work of this stadium was started on August 20, 2017. He said the construction of the cricket stadium was underway with financial support from the Board of Control for Cricket in India.
He said the construction of the stadium could not be completed for a couple of years due to Covid Pandemic. Then the work started.
