“The role of farmers in the economic development of the state is important. Therefore, the state government is working seriously for the development of agriculture and the welfare of farmers.
New plans are being taken for the welfare of farmers.” Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Ratanlal Nath said this while inaugurating the Belbari Agriculture Division Office on Thursday.
The agriculture minister further said, “It is the 45th agriculture division office in the state. In the coming days, the agricultural subdivision office will be opened in every block of the state.
The government is above politics and working for everyone so that even the last person of the society is not deprived of the government scheme.
For this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the Bharat Sankalp Yatra.”
He added, “The Proti Ghore Sushason 2.0 campaign is started in every house in Tripura so that people can take advantage of various schemes and services of central and state governments.”
The Agriculture Minister said, “Around 45 percent of the agricultural work in the country is now done by machines. Our goal is to take it to 100 percent. Therefore, farmers are being given various agricultural machinery under government subsidy. The income of farmers has also increased in the state.”
