Madhupur, June 25: Yet another theft has been reported at the Madhupur Animal Hospital. On Tuesday morning, the hospital’s doctors lodged a formal complaint at the Madhupur police station regarding the incident.
According to police sources, a water pump machine installed at the hospital just a few months ago was stolen late Monday night. A group of miscreants allegedly dismantled the pipe and took away the pump.
Local residents have alleged that a few unruly youths often gather around the hospital premises in an inebriated state. They are suspected to be involved in the theft. Notably, this is not the first such incident at the hospital — earlier, the hospital’s door was broken open and vaccines were stolen.
Theft cases have been on the rise in the Madhupur area recently. Just a few days ago, two cows were stolen from a household in the same locality. Locals have expressed concern over the situation and demanded a thorough investigation to apprehend the culprits.
