In the view of the upcoming assembly elections in 2023, Tripura’s former Chief Minister and Rajyasabha MP Biplab Kumar Deb is geared up for election campaigning across the state.
In a press conference at his governmental residence, he announced the matter on Saturday.
He said that he would be seen across villages and towns as he was seen before the 2018 assembly elections. Biplab Deb said that he already informed the matter to the Chief Minister of Haryana, as he has been assigned the role of BJP organisational in-charge of Haryana by stating ‘first Tripura, then Haryana’.
He claimed that without BJP and Modi, Tripura has no future as well as there would be no scope of highlighting the issues of the state in Rajyasabha.
Rajyasabha MP also added, “Without the support of Modi, there is no chance of development of infrastructure, education. There would be no chance of fulfillment of the dreams of Tripura’s people”. The former CM said that he wants cooperation from the public as well as karyakartas to return the Bhartiya Janata Party to power in 2023.
He urged people of Tripura to make the BJP government in 2023 for a better future.
He also criticised CPIM and Congress by stating that they have no strength and place among people and thus, they cannot do anything for Tripura.
Biplab Deb further added that whatever TIPRA Motha is trying to do or want to do, they need to approach the BJP, as central government is lead by BJP. Deb’s statement indicates superiority of the BJP over Motha as well as hints at the possibility of new political equation in state politics.
