Information and Cultural Affairs Minister Sushanta Chowdhury said this at the distribution ceremony of bicycles among 178 female students of Chowdhury Bari Higher Secondary School in Jirania today.
This bicycle is given to the girls of class 9 to facilitate their studies by the initiative of the school education department.
In the event, Information and Cultural Affairs Minister Sushanta Chowdhury said that students should move forward in life with the idea of competition. If you want to move forward in life, you have to take risks. Only then a student will be able to guide the society in the future.
He said, ‘Free cycles are being given to girl students in government schools by our state government.This initiative has been taken in order to promote girls’ education in the state. This afternoon, I handed over bicycles to 178 girls’ students of Choudhury Bari Higher Secondary School under my 10Majlishpur assembly constituency.
