Jampuijala once again witnessed political unrest as a clash between BJP and Tipra Motha workers triggered tension across the area. During the incident, the car of Takajala Mandal President Nirmal Debbarma was vandalised, along with the BJP mandal office at Jampuijala Bazar. According to sources, four to five BJP workers were injured in the attack.

Local residents say that clashes between the two parties have become frequent over the past few years, severely affecting peace and normalcy in the region. Recently, the political landscape has shifted after a significant number of Tipra Motha supporters joined the BJP following several meetings with the Chief Minister. Political observers believe that this development may have influenced the latest confrontation, with Tipra Motha reportedly gaining little from the escalation.

Continuous incidents of violence have left the common people increasingly worried, as tension and resentment continue to grow in the affected areas.
