Popular Singer Papon to join Unity Promo Fest in Tripura’s Udaipur on Nov 20

Finance Minister Pranajit Singha Roy on Sunday said that the ongoing Unity Promo Fest, being organized across various districts of the state, aims to highlight Tripura’s rich culture and heritage on a larger platform. He stated that the initiative would significantly contribute to attracting both domestic and international tourists.

The two-day Unity Promo Fest in Udaipur, Gomati district, commenced yesterday at the Udaipur Sports Ground. Finance Minister Pranajit Singha Roy formally inaugurated the festival, which has been organised by the Tourism Department.

Speaking as the chief guest, Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury said that the festival has been launched to promote the harmonious cultural blend of both tribal and non-tribal communities while strengthening the state’s tourism sector.

MLA Rampada Jamatia, Gomati Zilla Parishad President Deval Debroy, Superintendent of Police Dr. Kiran Kumar K, and Tourism Department Director Prashant Badal Negi were also present at the inaugural ceremony.
