The government has given priority to provide better medical services in the district hospitals of the state and improving the infrastructure of the health centres. The main aim of the government is to provide the best health services to the citizens of the state.
Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said this while inaugurating the 36th Annual Conference of Obstetrics and Gynecological Society at Golab Bagan in Agartala, Tripura on Saturday evening.
He said, “Previously demands on various issues people need to be raised before the government. Now, even before the demand, doctors are promoted and Tripura Health Service Rules have been corrected”.
Chief Minister further said that earlier there were many refer cases from this state, but now referrals have reduced a lot. CM said, “Gynecologists performed their duties at great risk during Covid. Physicians should try to deal with the problems of patients. Doctors are like God to the patient”.
