“A great thinker of the country, Rishi Aurobindo was a great philosopher as well as a patriot. The great ideals he left behind to liberate the country are still relevant today. We have to move forward following the ideals of the life of Rishi Aurobindo.”

Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said this while unveiling the idol of Rishi Aurobindo on the occasion of 65th Foundation Day of Aurobindo Club at Kasaripatti on Monday.

The Chief Minister said, “The spiritual philosophy of Rishi Aurobindo was unimaginable. His philosophies and thoughts need to be applied in our lives as well to build a healthy society.”

He added, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi is working to protect the integrity of the country by following the patriotic ideas of the great philosopher Rishi Aurobindo. We also have to come forward with the initiative taken by the Prime Minister to make the country a global leader.”

In the event, the Chief Minister said, “The club culture in our state is long-standing, which has changed along with modernity. Nowadays, clubs play an important role in the development of an area. Besides, the clubs play an important role in solving various problems including domestic problems in the area.”
