Delhi High Court dismisses PIL against ‘The Accidental Prime Minister’ trailer

A single bench of the Delhi High Court on Monday has dismissed the plea seeking the banning of the trailer of the film The Accidental Prime Minister.

It has given a go-ahead for the release of the film on January 11 but has given the petitioner the option to file the plea in front of a division bench which is a two-judge bench of the Delhi High Court.

A plea was filed in the Delhi High Court on Saturday seeking direction to the Centre and the censor board to suspend the trailer of the upcoming movie ‘The Accidental Prime Minister’, alleging that it defames the constitutional post.
