The state budget has increased to about 27 thousand crore rupees in the last financial year. In that fiscal year, the state’s own source income was 2,765 crore rupees which is almost double compared to that of 2017-2018 financial year.

He said that the state’s own income is limited. Most of the developmental work requires the help from Centre. But as much as it is possible to earn from the state, it should be eamed in a proper manner with the joint efforts of all. Speaking at the camp, Commissioner of Tax Rakhi Biswas said that from June 14 to June 16, training will be given to the DDOs of all the departments under the 3 treasuries of West Tripura district regarding GST collection.
