The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of heavy rainfall accompanied by gusty winds blowing at speeds of 40 to 50 kmph across all districts of the state over the next 24 hours.

According to the latest weather bulletin, the maximum temperature on Tuesday is likely to hover around 33 degrees Celsius.

The minimum temperature recorded in Agartala on Tuesday morning was 25.9 degrees Celsius. The city also received 16.4 mm of rainfall till 5:30 am, indicating active monsoon conditions in the region.

The department has advised people to remain cautious during adverse weather conditions and avoid unnecessary travel in vulnerable areas.
