Hotels and restaurants in Tripura will not accept bookings from tourists from Bangladesh.

We are a secular country. We have respect for all religions. But recently in Bangladesh, a section of extremist people are severely oppressing the Hindu minority of Bangladesh by insulting the national flag of India.

The current situation is very worrying. In our state, we treat citizens coming from Bangladesh as guests for various reasons, whereas such behavior of a section of Bangladeshi citizens towards the minorities of that country is condemnable.

Today, the All Tripura Hotel and Restaurant Owners Association has unanimously decided in an emergency meeting held at Hotel Sonartari that from today i.e. 02/12/2024, Bangladeshi citizens coming to our state will not get any kind of hotel services.
