A MoU regarding the lease of land was signed between the state government and National School of Drama on September 26, 2023 in the conference hall of Ranirbazar Municipal Council.

On behalf of the state government, Director of Information and Cultural Affairs Department Bimbisar Bhattacharya, CEO of Ranirbazar Municipal Council Shanti Ranjan Chakma signed this MoU.

Registrar of National School of Drama, Pradeep Kumar Mohanty and Director of National School of Drama Centre, Biplab Barkakati signed on behalf of National School of Drama, Chairperson of Ranicbazar Municipal Council Aparna Shukla Das, Vice Chairperson Prabir Kumar Das, Sub- Divisional Police Officer Himadri Prasad Das, Joint Director of Information and Cultural Affairs Department Sanjib Chakma, Councillor of Ranirbazar Municipal Council Gautam Majumder, Social Worker Gauranga Bhowmik and others were present at Mol? signing programme 2.36 acres of land in Ranirbazar Municipal Council area has been handed over to National School of Drama through this Mol
