On March 9, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President J.P. Nadda will address a large public rally in Agartala to mark the second anniversary of the BJP 2.0 government, led by Chief Minister Manik Saha, in Tripura.
Rajib Bhattacharjee, President of the BJP Tripura unit, announced the plans for the celebration, noting that a high-level committee has been formed to ensure the rally’s success. Senior minister Ratan Lal Nath will head the committee, with an aim to attract a record number of attendees.
The rally, scheduled to take place at the Swami Vivekananda Stadium in Agartala, will also feature speeches from key leaders including Chief Minister Manik Saha. Bhattacharjee, who is also a Rajya Sabha member, highlighted the achievements of the BJP government over the past seven years, particularly emphasizing the state’s efforts to combat the drug menace. He pointed out the state government’s ongoing initiative to make Tripura “drug-free” through an extensive campaign against illicit drugs and trafficking.
