The state government has decided to increase the salary of all the contractual doctors and employees working in the state in the National Health Mission.
State Health Secretary Dr. Debashish Basu said this at a press conference in Secretariat on Monday.
He said, “This increased salary will be effective from April 2023. 2051 doctors and employees of the state will benefit from this salary increase. For this,16.78 crore rupees will be required annually.”
Meanwhile, on the same day, in a press conference at the BJP state headquarters, Dr. Ashok Sinha, the vice president of the state BJP, thanked the state government for this decision.

The increased pay will be effective from April, 2023. Health Secretary Dr. Debashis Bose reported this news. In the press conference, he said that 2,051 doctors and employees of the state will benefit from the increase in salary.
The health secretary also said that as a result of the increase in salary, 16.78 crore rupees will be required annually.
