NIRT launches Post Graduate Diploma in Rubber Plantation Management

The National Institute for Rubber Training (NIRT), under the Rubber Board launches Post Graduate Diploma in Rubber Plantation Management (PGDRPM) of one year duration at Nucleus Rubber Estate & Training Centre (NRETC) Kunjaban, Agartala.

The Course will commence on 24 November 2021. PGDRPM is designed for graduates in Agriculture and allied subjects/ Plant sciences desirous of pursuing a challenging career in rubber plantation sector and professionals like Supervisors and Field officers, graduates working in Rubber Producers Societies, agri-businese companies, cooperatives, farmers organizations, agricultural entrepreneurs and input dealers.

The course will benefit the persons keen to pursue a career as extension functionaries in rubber plantations and government bodies; supervisors, managers and field officers in production/ post harvest management and marketing of natural rubber.

The Course will also equip the participants for self- entrepreneurship in plantation sector.
