On first China visit in 5 years, EAM Jaishankar urges for stronger India-China ties – ‘as neighbouring nations’

External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar will be on a two-day visit to China beginning today.

He will attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation, SCO Foreign Ministers’ meeting in Tianjin city tomorrow.

The Foreign Ministers will exchange views on SCO cooperation in various fields and major international and regional issues.
