Belonia, 14th July 2025 : On Monday, Pranab Sarkar  eminent journalist and Editor of Headlines Tripura, also serving as President of Agartala Press Club and Tripura Football Association visited Belonia in South Tripura.

During his visit, he held a detailed discussion with District Magistrate Mohammad Sazzad P. regarding the development of football in the district and the recurring drainage and waterlogging issues in Belonia town due to recent floods.

As part of his humanitarian effort, Shri Sarkar personally handed over a financial contribution to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund through the District Magistrate, in support of those affected by the floods.

It is worth mentioning that in earlier flood situations, he had extended similar support by donating essential relief materials and financial aid to various camps in Belonia.
