The outbreak of the Covid-19 virus is once again being reported in several states across the country this year.
Along with Kerala, Maharashtra, Delhi, and Gujarat, the rate of coronavirus infections and the number of active patients are also increasing in the northeastern state.
The rise in Covid-19 cases in Mizoram has sparked concern in neighboring Tripura, which shares a border with the state.
According to information provided by the Mizoram Health Department, a total of 90 people have been infected with the Covid-19 virus in the state this year. Of these, 52 cases were reported during the current month of May alone.
Health experts believe the sharp increase in infections in Mizoram could pose a potential risk for Tripura as well, leading to growing concerns about a possible rise in Covid-19 infections in the state.
