Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb yesterday made it clear that the state government has not received any peace talks offer from any outlawed group officially yet, “I have received no peace talks offer officially. Besides there is no terorist activity in the state and there is no militant presence in the state’s soil”,he said. The Chief Minister was speaking with the media at Alvert Ekka Park, Lichubagan after paying tribute to the martyrs on the occasion of Parakram Parv.

“Sometimes two or three letters are issued by millitants these are conspiracy attempts to create panic when the state is in the midst of peace.”
