Transport Minister inaugurates Kasba Kali Mandir- GB Bazar TRTC bus service

The state government has taken various steps for making natural beauty and notable tourist destinations of Tripura more attractive to the tourists of the country and abroad.

Already tourist spots including Narkelkunj, Neermahal, Chabirmura have been developed to make these more attractive. Tourism Minister Pranjit Singha Roy said this while inaugurating Tripura Road Transport Corporation’s passenger bus service from Kasba Kalibari in Kamalasagar to GB Bazar in Agartala on Wednesday.

On this occasion, a program was organized in Kasba Kalibari temple premises. Inaugurating the bus service, the tourism minister said that this bus service has been launched for the convenience of tourists.

The state government wants to put the tourism industry of the state on a solid footing by improving various services in the tourist spots of the state.

He added that due to the COVID-19 situation across the country as well as in the state, the work of beautifying the tourist centers has been somewhat hampered.

The tourism minister also said that the State Government continues its efforts to convert MBB Airport into an International Airport.
The railway communication system has also been greatly improved.

The Tourism Minister expressed hope that many tourists from the country and abroad will come to the state due to the improvement of the air and rail communication system.
Supriya Das Dutta, president of Sipahijala Zilla Parishad, spoke on the occasion.
