Tripura CM Dr Manik Saha Calls On Union Minister Smriti Irani; Urges Speedy Approval Of Projects

Chief Minister Professor Dr. Manik Saha on Monday called on Union Minister for Women and Child Development Smriti Irani in New Delhi.

During the meeting, Chief Minister Dr. Saha requested the Union Minister to approve the proposals for the welfare of women and children of Tripura, which is under consideration of the Union Ministry of Women and Child Development.

During the meeting, the Chief Minister also sought the help of the Central Government in speedily opening the Anganwadi centers, which are closed in different parts of Tripura.
He also requested the allocation of necessary funds for the renovation.

The Chief Minister requested the Union Minister to consider the proposal sent for starting three new ICDS projects in remote areas of the state in aspirational block Raisyabari, Shilachari and Ganganagar RD blocks.
