The government is determined. The state government will never tolerate attacks on doctors. Because doctors are working wholeheartedly in providing health services.

Everyone in the society needs to be aware of giving doctors the respect they deserve. Chief Minister Professor (Dr.) Manik Saha said this while inaugurating the National Doctors Day at Rabindra Bhavan today.

National Doctor’s Day is celebrated on the occasion of Bidhan Chandra Roy’s birthday. Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that doctors belong to a great profession who provide birth and death certificates to people. Doctors should always work with an attitude of service. In addition, the doctors should be polite in their behavior. Only then will it be possible to establish a sweet relationship with the patient.

The Chief Minister said that health is the priority area of the state government. Therefore, most of the state budget is allocated to the health sector.

For the development of the health system of the state, the government is working seriously on the infrastructure development of each health institution.

Due to the development of the state’s health system, operations for critical diseases are now possible in the state. The Chief Minister said that the responsibility and duty of doctors towards the society is very high. But in the past days it has been seen that doctors are not given the same respect. The current State government is giving all doctors.
