Tripura NSUI places deputation against ‘Fake PRTC

The National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) President Samrat Roy has alleged that the Permanent Residential Certificate (PRTC) issued by t the Tripura government is being misused by candidates from other states to apply for army jobs in Tripura.

It is alleged that youth from outside Tripura are making fake PRTC (Permanent Resident of Tripura Certificate) and giving interviews in the Staff Selection Commission exam.

A delegation of the NSUI (National Students’ Union of India) Tripura branch on Saturday presented a deputation to the State Director General of Police to protest against fake PRTC (Permanent Resident of Tripura Certificate).

The delegation claimed that these fake certificates were obtained with the help of corrupt officials of the SDM office.

During the deputation, NSUI’s state president Samrat Roy and many others were present.
In an interview, Samrat Roy said that he had given a deputation to the Sub-Divisional Magistrate two days ago regarding this issue.
The matter has also been informed to the Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha.

Roy said that the unemployed youth of the state are being deprived because the youth from other states are giving interviews by making fake PRTC.
