In pursuance of Nesha Mukt Tripura drive, Dhalai District Police achieved major achievement against drug trafficking on 13/07/2022.
Based on specific information Sub-Divisional Police Officer, Ambasa, Officer-in-Charge Ambasa Police Station along with other officers & staff conducted vehicle checking at Betbagan on NH 8 on 13/07/2022 morning. During checking detained one Truck bearing.
Registration Number NL 01Q 6898 (truck). During search, the police party recovered total 475 Kg dry Ganja from the detained vehicle and seized accordingly. Driver of the vehicle namely Sri Gopal Kumar S/o Sri Basu Prasad and co-driver namely Sri Satish Kumar Ram S/O Sri Jitu Ram of Jiravakhanda, PS- Chikasaur, Dist. Nalanda, Bihar were arrested.
A case has been registered in this regard for further investigation
