According to the schedule of the Election Commission of India, the Presidential Election of India will be held on July 18, 2022.
Elected members of the Tripura Legislative Assembly will cast their votes in the Assembly Lobby.
On this occasion, the Election Commission of India has given the ballot boxes and necessary election related materials to the concerned officials of each state on Wednesday, July 13.
The state’s ballot box and other election-related materials were received by Additional Chief Election Officer Ushajen Mog and Assistant Returning Officer Sweethuifru Mog.
They reached Agartala on Wednesday afternoon with the voting materials.
Ballot boxes and other items have been kept in the designated strongroom of the Tripura Assembly under tight police security.
There will be 24-hour police security in the designated strongroom.
The ballot box will be sent to the office of the Returning Officer in Delhi on July 19, 2022 through police security after the polling closes.
