Tripura Police Burn Cannabis

A massive campaign was launched by the Tripura Police against those cultivating ganja. PR Bari police station along with 69th BSF battalion personnel and forest department staff launched a vigorous campaign to destroy ganja plants in Ghosh Khamar areas.

Tripura Police said in an official notice today that around 65 hundred ganja plantations from five different plots of forest land were cut, burnt and destroyed.

At the same time, today Tripura Police has also informed that a total of 151 people have been arrested under various criminal sections across the state.
