Agartala, June 19: The Tripura government has intensified preparations for the NEET-UG 2026 re-examination scheduled to be held on June 21, with a strong focus on ensuring security, transparency, and smooth conduct of the examination.

To review the arrangements, high-level meetings were held at both the state and district levels. Authorities have directed officials to ensure comprehensive CCTV surveillance at all examination centres, secure transportation and storage of question papers, adequate deployment of police personnel, and effective coordination among various departments involved in the examination process.

Speaking on Thursday, West Tripura District Magistrate Vishal Kumar said that the re-examination would be conducted strictly in accordance with the guidelines issued by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

“The administration is committed to conducting the examination in a completely transparent, fair, and secure environment so that candidates can appear for the test with full confidence,” he said.

The state administration has assured that all necessary measures have been put in place to maintain the integrity of the examination and prevent any irregularities. Officials are closely monitoring preparations to ensure the smooth and successful conduct of the NEET-UG 2026 re-examination across the state.
