Plans were taken by Tourism Department to set up a weekend tourist hub at the front location of the capital Agartala State Museum Ujjayant Palace for public weekends including tourists across the state.

Very soon the official inauguration of this Weekend Tourist Hub will be done in the presence of Chief Minister Professor (Dr) Manik Saha of the state.

To review all the preparations related to this a high level meeting related to this Weekend Tourist Hub in the presence of Minister Sushanta Chowdhury Mayor Deepak Majumdar including the high ranking officials of the administration.

All types of plans taken to make the inauguration ceremony smoothly and successful with the officials attending the meeting and provide necessary instructions and suggestions over various related issues.
