Bishramganj, Nov — A theft incident was reported at Brindavan Senapati Para JB School in the Karuimura area under Bishramganj police station, adding to a string of motorbike thefts that occurred just a day earlier.

According to school headmaster Arun Debbarma, the school was closed at the scheduled time after serving mid-day meals on Wednesday. However, on Thursday morning, when he arrived to open the premises, he discovered that thieves had broken the locks of the front grill and the storeroom. Two LPG cylinders used for the mid-day meal program were found missing.

The incident has triggered resentment among school authorities as well as local residents, who expressed concern over rising theft incidents in the locality.

Later, the two stolen cylinders were recovered, and a written complaint was lodged at Bishramganj police station. Police have initiated an investigation to identify and apprehend those responsible for the theft.
