Agartala, Nov — The two-day state-wide Orange Festival commenced on Thursday at the Badharghat flower garden in the capital under the patronage of Agriculture Minister Ratan Lal Nath. The event has been organized by the Department of Parks and Soil Conservation.

MLA Meena Rani Sarkar along with senior officials from various government departments attended the inaugural ceremony.

The fair features developmental exhibition stalls from a range of organizations, including the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, the Department of Horticulture and Soil Conservation, the Research Centre, the Agriculture Research Station, and TSOFDA. Several orange stalls and FPOs have also showcased a variety of orange-based products and horticultural items.

On the same occasion, the Agriculture Minister also inaugurated the newly beautified flower garden at Badharghat, drawing appreciation from visitors for its vibrant visuals.
