Parliamentary Affairs and Minority Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju on Thursday visited the disaster-affected regions of Bijanbari Block in the Darjeeling Hills, which have been severely impacted by continuous rainfall, floods, and landslides.

During his interaction with the affected residents, Rijiju assured them that the Central Government is closely monitoring the situation and that he would submit a detailed report on the extent of damage to the concerned authorities.

He also expressed solidarity with the victims and emphasized the government’s commitment to ensuring timely relief and rehabilitation measures for those affected.
