Kolkata: Under-construction warehouse collapses in Taratala; four dead, 16 injured
Rescue operations have started after an under-construction godown collapsed, trapping workers beneath heavy iron debris near Taratala in Kolkata today. Five people were reported killed in the accident. Injured persons are being shifted to the hospital through a green corridor.
The NDRF, police, fire and emergency services, and locals have joined the rescue work. Personnel of the Disaster Management Group of the Kolkata Police have also joined the rescue efforts.
