Agartala, July 15: A 24-year-old woman suffering from mental health issues has reportedly gone missing from the Sabujpalli area of Hapaniya, triggering concern among her family and local residents.

The missing woman has been identified as Shilpi Sarkar, daughter of Sudhan Sarkar. According to family members, she left home around 5:30 pm on Monday and has remained untraceable since then. They said Shilpi had been undergoing treatment for mental health-related problems.

Following her disappearance, her father lodged a General Diary (GD) at Amtali Police Station. Acting on the complaint, police have launched a search operation to trace the missing woman.

The incident has caused anxiety in the locality, while the family has appealed to the public to immediately inform Amtali Police Station or the nearest police station if anyone locates or has information about Shilpi Sarkar. Police said efforts are underway to trace her at the earliest.
