Agartala, March 7: The task force of the Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC) carried out another enforcement drive in different parts of the capital on Friday evening.

The operation targeted illegal roadside shops and vehicles parked unlawfully along several important roads of the city. During the drive, officials removed encroachments and cleared illegally parked vehicles in order to ease traffic congestion and ensure smoother movement on busy roads.

The initiative was taken as part of the civic body’s ongoing efforts to maintain discipline and improve traffic conditions in the city.

Officials of the Agartala Municipal Corporation said that such drives will continue in the coming days to maintain order in the city and ensure the normal movement of commuters and pedestrians.
