For the Tripura West seat, there are 9 candidates.
Key candidates include Biplab Kumar Deb from BJP, who is a former Chief Minister and current Rajya Sabha MP, and Asish Kumar Saha, the Tripura Congress President.
Voter turnout for 2024 was 81.48%, compared to 83.21% in 2019, with 14.63 lakh total voters. In 2019, BJP’s Pratima Bhoumik won with 573,532 votes and a 51.77% vote share.
For the Tripura East seat, there are also 9 candidates. Key candidates include Kriti Devi Debbarman from BJP and Rajendra Reang from CPIM.
Voter turnout for 2024 was 80.36%, down from 83.19% in 2019, with 13.95 lakh total voters. In 2019, BJP’s Rebati Tripura won the seat with 482,126 votes.
