BJP candidate Malina Debnath wins from Jubarajnagar with margin of 4,572 votes

The BJP candidate Malina Debnath won 57-Jubarajnagar assembly constituency seat by defeating CPIM candidate Shailendra Chandra Nath.

After a long period of 29 years Lef Front has lost this assembly constituency.

18,769 electorates elected BJP candidate Malina Debnath as an MLA from 57-Jubarajnagar assembly.

The Left Front (CPIM) candidate Shailendra Chandra Nath bagged the second position by getting 14,197 votes.

Congress candidate Sushmita Debnath got third place with 1,440 votes, followed by Trinamool Congress candidate Dr Mrinal Kanti Debnath with 1,080 votes.

BJP candidate Malina Debnath won with a margin of 4,572 votes over her nearest rival Shailendra Chandra Nath of CPIM
Malina Debnath said that the victory belonged to BJP workers and supporters.

The by-elections were conducted peacefully and transparently.

She also said that people voted for the Bharatiya Janata Party for the development works. Various development plans would be implemented in the constituency.
