Although various star campaigners including filmstars came to Tripura to create a grip over Tripura, the results of Trinamool Congress in all constituencies were very upsetting.
After observing the results, Abhishek Banerjee would not dare daydream to conquer Tripura as well as think several times before making statements concerning Tripura.
TMC Convenor Subal Bhowmik accepted the judgement of people in a press conference on Sunday after declaration of results.
He tried to perform a damage control with his statements.
Based on the explanations of Subal Bhowmik, it is quite clear that TMC workers became demotivated and tangled after watching the results.
His statements indicate that although people love Trinamool due to absence of a solid vote bank, TMC failed to make an impact.
Faces of various candidates and workers present in the conference also showed hopelessness.
The results of by-election in four constituencies clearly indicate the political equation and strength of Trinamool in Tripura.
Trinamool received 2.96 percent votes in 8-Town Bardowali, 2.10 percent votes in 6-Agartala, 2.91 percent votes in Jubarajnagar and 3.40 percent votes in 46-Surma constituency.
Although Subal Bhowmik highlighted several excuses, it is clear that no support of the public is the main reason for the disastrous results of TMC.
