Udaipur, June 29, 2025: The BJP-backed panel secured a sweeping victory in the Udaipur Bar Association elections held on Sunday. Two panels — one representing the BJP and the other the CPM — contested for a total of 15 posts in the association.
The BJP panel clinched 12 out of the 15 seats. Following the results, the newly elected committee appointed Pranab Deb as President, Kuntal Das as Vice-President, Sumanta Chakraborty as Secretary, Paltu Das as Associate Secretary, and Rana Dutta as Treasurer.
The newly formed committee will serve a two-year term. After the announcement of results, there was palpable enthusiasm and celebration among the lawyers supporting the BJP panel.
