Health infrastructure and quality of health services of the state are now much improved.
Earlier many patients in the state were referred outside.
Currently, the number of patient referrals is decreasing day by day due to the improvement of health services in the state.
Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said this while inaugurating the trauma center, nutrition rehabilitation center, paediatric ward and Covid ICU ward of Kulai district hospital on Thursday.
The Chief Minister appreciated the development of infrastructure and expansion of health services at Kulai District Hospital.
He said that the services of government hospitals are much better than before.
Hospital staff are providing services on a case-by-case basis.
The Chief Minister told the doctors and health workers of Kulai District Hospital that people come to the hospital only when they are sick.
Therefore, healthcare staff should provide services with a humane approach.
He said that they should talk with the patient and members come with the patient and explain to them the patient’s problem and related treatment procedures.
The chief minister said that the trauma center is starting here. He said that when a patient returns home after recovery from the hospital, the patient’s family as well as the health workers become happy.
The Chief Minister urged everyone to treat this hospital as a temple. He said that different types of complex operations are currently being done at GBP Hospital.
All arrangements for making it a super specialty hospital are also being made.
The government is taking regular initiatives to improve health services.
