Different hospitals of the state nominated for Kayakalp Award

Like every year, this year also, District Hospitals, Sub-Divisional Hospitals, Primary Health Centre, Community Health Centres, Health and Wellness Centres and Health Sub-Centres of the state were nominated for State-Level Kayakalp Award through tri-level survey based on cleanliness in the hospital, proper waste discharge and genn-free environment.

Total 1371 health institutions of the state have received the award. Among them are 4 Distret Hospitals.

3 Sub-Division Hospitals, to Community Health Centres, 46 PHCs, 65 Health & Wellness Centres and Health Sub-Centres, 7 Urban PHCs. Among Sub-Division Hospitals and Community Health Centres, Manu bazar Community | Health Centre was nominated to be the best and one PHC and one Health & Wellness Centre- sub centre from each district was nominated to be the best. Other hospitals such as Dhalai.

North Tripura, South Tripura Distnet Hospitals and IGM Hospital were nominated for appreciation award. Jampai PHO from North Tripura district, Machmara PHC from Unakou district, Nepal Tilla PHC from Dhalal district, Hemanta Dobbarma Sumiti Memorial PHC from Khowai district, Madhya Pratapgarh Liban PHC from West Inpura district, Madhya Twibandal PHC from Sepahijala. district, Madhya Baikhom PEC from South Tripura district and Tulamura PHC from Gomati district were nominated as best PHC’s East Pipraikhola Health Centre from South Inpura district, East Gokuinagar Health Sub-Centre from Sepahijala district, Dhaleswar Health Sub Centre from West Tripura district and Dudhipur Health Sub-Centre from from Unakoti district were nominated as best Health & Wellness Centres.

The survey for best environment-friendly hospitals among District Hospitals, Sub-Division and Social Health institutions was done this year following the predefined criteria of the Government of India. Aller in-level survey, Dhalai District Hospital and Manu Bazar Community Health Centre were nominated as hest environment-friendly hospitals.
