Rajeev Chandrasekhar, the Union Minister of State for Skill Development arrived in Agartala on June 5 for a three-day visit to Tripura.
During his stay, he is meeting various groups of people, evaluating the skill development initiatives in the state, and addressing concerns related to market connections, capacity building, and employment opportunities.
The Minister returned to Agartala after attending a public meeting at Chakma Ghat in Khowai district of Tripura on Tuesday, June 6 and visited Vikas Tirth, the Agartala-Bangladesh Rail Project, along with other scheduled activities.
Earlier on Tuesday day, he visited the Teliamura Sub Division near Krishnapur, where he received a briefing from DCM Sourav Das regarding the educational and skill development facilities in the area.
Chandrasekhar also participated in a tree-planting activity in the vicinity of the DCM office.
Besides, the Minister held a meeting with Bikas Debbarma, Tripura’s Minister for Tribal Welfare, Handloom, Handicrafts and Sericulture, as well as Statistics.
During their discussion, they addressed the diverse challenges and opportunities faced by the state across different aspects.
