A 22-member cultural group from the state’s Janjati community is on its way to New Delhi to attend the swearing-in ceremony of the new President of India.
There are 20 artists and 2 officials in this cultural team.
The cultural team will perform cultural programs at the swearing-in ceremony of the new president.
To commemorate the swearing-in ceremony of the new President, the state’s cultural team will showcase the traditional dances of the Janjati community of the state.
The cultural group left for Delhi today under the direction of Chief Minister Manik Saha and the initiative of Information and Cultural Affairs Minister Sushanta Chowdhury.
